Traverse de la rivière Saint-Augustin - Reprise du service de transport de passagers

La Société des traversiers du Québec (STQ) informe la population que le service de transport de passagers reprendra demain, le dimanche 28 avril, à la traverse de la rivière Saint-Augustin.
La reprise du service suit la décision du ministère des Transports du Québec de fermer la route blanche entre Saint-Augustin et Pakuashipi.
Le service sera temporairement assuré par hélicoptère, selon l’horaire régulier. Du côté de Pakuashipi, l’héliport se trouve à l’aéroport, tandis que du côté de Saint-Augustin, il est situé au Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CLSC, aussi appelé « la clinique »).
Par ailleurs, le service de transport terrestre entre l’aéroport et le quai de Pointe-à-la-Truite pour les passagers du MN Bella Desgagnés se poursuit. Les réservations sont obligatoires (418 947-2027 ou 1 888 759-6865). Les clients sont invités à laisser un message s’il n’y a pas de réponse.
La STQ invite sa clientèle à consulter le traversiers.com pour connaître l’horaire de la traverse et à s’abonner son service d’alertes pour connaître les modifications au service en temps réel.

Beginning of the passenger transportation service
The Société des traversiers du Québec (STQ) informs the population that the passenger transportation service will begin tomorrow, Sunday, April 28th.
This decision follows the announcement by Ministère des Transports du Québec to close the Route blanche between Saint-Augustin and Pakuashipi.
The service will be temporarily offered by helicopter, following the hovercraft schedule.
On the Pakuashipi side, the heliport is located at the airport. On the St-Augustin side, it is situated at the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CLSC, known as « the clinic »).
The ground transportation service will continue to be offered between the airport and Trout-Point wharf for the passengers of the MV Bella Desgagnés. Reservations are mandatory and must be made by calling 418 947-2027 or 1 888 759-6865. Please leave a message if there is no answer.
