TRANSPORTATION OF GOODS

From April to February, the STQ is responsible for the transportation of goods by water or land between the Pointe-à-la-Truite and the Saint-Augustin wharves.

This service is offered free of charge. In winter, an accessibility program provided by air will allow residents to stock up on perishable goods at preferential rates as indicated in the program by Nutrition North Canada.

TRANSPORTATION OF UNACCOMPANIED MERCHANDISE

The Société des traversiers du Québec (STQ) would like to remind its customers that we offer free transportation of goods on scheduled crossings.

Once we have reached our destination, STQ employees drop off the transported merchandise at the location provided for this purpose and are no longer responsible for it.

The STQ does not monitor the goods once they have been dropped off and does not validate the identity of the customers who come to collect them.

Therefore, the recovery of the goods is entirely under the responsibility of the customers.
