MV Grue-des-Îles
The name of the MV Grue-des-Îles is inspired by the name of L'Isle-aux-Grues, one of the oldest toponyms in Quebec. This name was itself inspired by the presence of many great blue herons on the island, which the first French settlers confused with cranes.
