Traverse Harrington Harbour - Service de réservation pour le bateau-taxi

Québec, le 21 juin 2016 – La Société des traversiers du Québec désire informer la clientèle de la traverse Harrington Harbour-Chevery qu’afin de mieux gérer la capacité de transport limitée à 6 passagers du bateau-taxi Seabreeze, elle offrira, pour la durée des opérations avec ce navire, un service de réservations à compter du lundi 27 juin 2016.
Pour réserver, les clients doivent appeler au 418 787-0100 au moins 24 heures avant l’heure prévue à l’horaire de la traversée choisie et laisser un message avec leur nom, l’heure de départ choisie et un numéro de téléphone pour les joindre. Les réservations seront enregistrées et aucun appel de confirmation ne sera retourné. Toutefois, si la capacité du bateau-taxi est atteinte, les clients excédentaires seront rappelés afin de leur permettre de planifier une nouvelle réservation selon les places disponibles sur d’autres traversées.
Par ailleurs, il est toujours possible de se présenter au quai pour un départ prévu à l’horaire sans avoir réservé, mais la traversée n’est pas garantie.
La STQ est consciente que la capacité de l’embarcation actuelle pose certains défis pour notre clientèle. En attendant qu’une nouvelle embarcation de plus grande capacité soit mise en service, la collaboration des clients est demandée afin de limiter la fréquence de leurs traversées à des déplacements nécessaires.

Reservation Service for the Taxi-Boat
Quebec, June 21, 2016 – The Société des traversiers du Québec wishes to inform the Harrington Harbour – Chevery crossing clients that in order to better manage the limited 6-passenger transport capacity of the Seabreeze, we will be offering a reservation service for the duration of the operations with this boat, effective Wednesday June 27, 2016.
In order to place a reservation, clients must call 418 787-0100 at least 24 hours before the desired crossing and leave a message including their name, time of departure and phone number where they can be reached. Reservations will be noted by the crew. It is important to understand that no confirmation call will be returned. However, if the capacity of the taxi-boat is reached, the extra clients will be called back to give them an opportunity to make a different reservation based on the available space on other crossings.
Nevertheless, it is always possible to go directly to the wharf for any scheduled departure without a reservation. However, crossing is not guaranteed for those without a reservation.
The STQ understands that the current capacity of the taxi-boat brings challenges. Until a vessel with a larger capacity is in place, the STQ requests the cooperation of the population in limiting the frequency of their crossings to necessary activities.
