Traverse Harrington Harbour - Report de la cale sèche de la barge Mécatina II à l'été 2017

Québec, 6 octobre 2016 – Comprenant que l’impact d’une cale sèche en décembre est considérable pour la population, la Société des traversiers du Québec (STQ) désire informer sa clientèle que la barge Mécatina II, qui devait être retirée du service à la première semaine de décembre, restera opérationnelle jusqu’à l’été 2017.
La date exacte de l’entrée en cale sèche de la barge NMMécatina II sera communiquée dans les prochains mois, cependant, la population peut s’attendre à un arrêt de 5 à 6 semaines au cours de l’été 2017.
La STQ est consciente que cet arrêt de service posera certains défis pour la communauté, et travaille à mettre en place un service alternatif pour remplacer la barge pendant cet arrêt.
De plus amples détails seront transmis dès que la STQ aura plus d’informations sur le service d’appoint. La STQ tient à remercier les résidents pour leur compréhension et leur collaboration.

NM Mécatina II Drydock Postponed to Summer 201
Québec, October 6, 2016 – Understanding that the impact of a December drydock is substantial for the population, the Société des traversiers du Québec (STQ) wishes to inform its clientele that the NM Mécatina II drydock scheduled initially for the first week of December will be postponed to summer 2017.
The exact date of the drydock will be communicated in the coming months. However, the population can expect that the NM Mecatina II will be removed from her service in the summer time of 2017, for a period of 5 to 6 weeks, including transit days to and fro.
The STQ understands that this situation will bring some challenges for the community, and is working on putting in place a temporary service to replace the barge during this interruption of service.
More information will be disclosed when we have more details on the temporary service. The STQ would like to thank the population for their understanding and cooperation.
